We keep cookies to a minimum. We do not use advertising, profiling or third-party analytics cookies.
Strictly-necessary cookies (client portal)
These are only set when you use the client portal at portal.actasecurity.eu, and they are required for it to work:
- Session: keeps you signed in. Lasts up to about 30 days.
- Sign-in: temporary cookies used while you complete sign-in. They expire within minutes.
No equivalent cookies are set just for browsing the public website.
Functional cookies
- Bot check: our contact form and portal sign-in use a self-hosted proof-of-work check that runs in your browser. It does not set cookies and sends no data to third parties.
- Live chat: if you open the chat widget, our EU-hosted chat service may set cookies needed to keep the conversation going. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
- Booking: if you open the booking calendar, meetergo (our EU scheduling provider) may set cookies needed to run that widget.
Your cookie choices
When you visit this site for the first time, a banner appears at the bottom of the page with two options:
- Accept all: enables strictly-necessary cookies plus functional cookies (live chat and booking widget). Your preference is stored for 12 months.
- Necessary only: only strictly-necessary cookies are active. The live chat widget and booking calendar will not load. Your preference is stored for 12 months.
You can change your preference at any time by clicking Cookie settings (shown in the booking section when functional cookies are declined) or by clearing stored site data for actasecurity.eu to reset the banner.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Deleting the portal session cookie will sign you out.
